We all know that fake eyelashes can add length and fullness to our existing lashes and if you’re looking to revamp your look, a pair of falsies just do the trick.
Haven’t used fake lashes ever before? Don’t worry! You can put them on easily, even if you’re just a beginner.
So, here I am with a quick post on how to apply false eyelashes in few simple steps.
Items you’ll need:
- Bobby pin/Tail comb
- Eyelash curler
- Lash Glue
Step 1: Remove the lashes from the pack and hold them against your eye to measure the length of your natural lash line. If the false lash needs to be cut to fit, snip off the outer edge completely with small scissors. This will avoid drooping at the corner.
Step 2: Squeeze some high quality lash glue such as DUO eyelash adhesive (for lasting results) on the back of one hand. Let the other hand be free for applying the glue to the lashes.
Step 3: Dip the back of a clean bobby pin/tail comb into the glue and gently brush it along the false lashes.
Step 5: Aim for the base of your natural lash line, right on top of your real lashes, not touching the eyelid at all. The end of the false lash must end with your real lash and not beyond it.
Step 6: Once the falsie has been placed, dab it such that it integrates with the natural one. Now repeat steps 1-6 for your other eye.
Step 7: Once you have placed both the lashes, you can curl them (natural and false both together) using an eyelash curler and then apply the mascara to give them the finishing touch.

Step 8: If you see a gap on the eyelid between your real lashes and falsies, don’t worry! Just fill in the gap using an eye shadow as a liner to hide it.
Removal Tips: To remove your false eyelashes, just take a cotton swab and soak it in some eye makeup remover. Swipe the swab along your lash line back and forth a few times, and you will start to notice the false lashes loosening from your lash line. Once the eyelashes are a little loose, use your thumb and index finger to gently pull it off.
Wasn’t it really easy?
