Hello December!

Holla beautiful people,

It’s December and we all know what that means: Winter is here! So how’s everyone holding up in this freezing cold weather? Delhi is getting real cold and honestly I’m enjoying every bit of it. After the never-ending Summer months – it feels good to just wrap yourself in layers and knits, and enjoy the new lush season with boots and colours such as black, blues, purples and reds.

Frankly, I love everything about winter fashion be it heavy coats, leather, fur, dark colours or latest prints and patterns. To give you an idea, here are some of my favourite winter essentials that will definitely get you through the upcoming days in style.

1. Leather Skirt/Pants

Amp up your chunky sweater, printed sweatshirt or cashmere turtleneck by pairing it with a sleek, leather skirt/pants. I’m wearing mine with a flannel plaid shirt here.

2. Tights

For those days when you are brave enough to wear skirts, all you will need are some thick tights. Get them in classic colours like black, navy, grey, or the patterned ones like the one I’m wearing here.

Quick tip: these tights are also great for layering under your jeans for those extra chilly days.

3. Accessories

As for your winter accessories, to keep you warm and toasty, you will need gloves, scarves, ear muffs and beanies. Wool scarves are my favourites and are trending this season. You can take your pick and go for any pattern, print or colour as per your personal choice. Although knit gloves are considered to be warmer, but for a more sophisticated look, you can always try some leather ones.

4. A Perfect Overcoat

There are several kinds of winter jackets available but you can never go wrong with that perfect fit overcoat. Not only does it help you in staying warm, it also makes you look stylish and elegant.

5. Boots

Boots are a must-have when it comes to winter season. They not only keep your legs warm but also add that finishing touch to your entire outfit.

As you can see in the pictures, I’ve tried to keep both the looks as different as possible including the makeup. Have a closer look:

While the former look is more edgy with smokey eyes and dark coloured lips, the latter one is a softer look with subtle eye makeup and pretty pink lips.

(Outfit Details: Leather skirt- from Switzerland, Shirt – Forever 21, Tights- Forever New, Leather Jacket- ZARA, Overcoat- Forever New, Dress- Forever New, Beanie & Gloves- Forever 21, Boots – Forever 21 & UCB, Bag- Da Milano, Accessories- Forever 21, Watch- Guess)

So now that I’ve let out some of my favourite winter essentials, it’s time you prep up your closet for the gloomy but cozy days!!

Also, I have some good news for my followers in the U.S. Recently, I came across this cool new site called Raise . It offers discounted gift cards from your favourite brands like Forever 21, Sephora, H&M, Zara and many more and it also lets you sell your unwanted gift cards for cash. Isn’t it exciting? Do check it out. I wish we had something like this here in India.

Much love 🙂

  1. You have an exceptional and fabulous sense of fashion. So classy and chic..Everything here looks just perfect. I especially love the classic black leather gloves which enhances the look. Sadly we don’t find many women here in india wearing these..

      1. Are there leather gloves available in delhi ? I am craving for leather gloves like these here in Delhi, but couldn’t find a decent pair. Even if it gets cold, most women wear those knitted woolen ones. But these leather ones look ultra chic.

Also I noted, you are wearing these the other way round. I mean you are wearing the right glove in left hand, and vice versa. This way the bow is also not visible, which should be visible on top.

  2. Actually you are. Try switching the gloves, then you’ll realize. The bow should be at the top. But the gloves are really pretty. Hope to see more posts on your blog with these gloves.
