Gillette Venus Week 2 Report

IMG_9276

Hi Guys 😀

If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know about the 30-day Subscribe to Smooth Challenge that I took up recently. In the previous post, I told you all about my first-hand experience with Gillette Venus razor and how it does not make my skin feel dry or flaky.

There are several questions that pop-up in our mind when we use the word “shaving”. While many of you might feel its bad for your sensitive skin, the truth is that shaving gives your skin a much-needed doze of exfoliation. Yes! Every time you shave off unwanted hair, you also remove a layer of dead skin. Thus, shaving essentially helps exfoliate the skin while stimulating collagen production, in effect leaving your skin smoother and younger than before.

A lot of women also believe that post-shaving, the hair that grows back is dark, coarse and thick but unfortunately, that’s another myth that I’m going to bust right here.

Its been two weeks now and my hair has finally started to grow back and believe me when I say, its neither dark nor thick. The texture of my hair is as soft as it was and there is no change in colour either.

Hair growth is determined by genes and hormones and shaving has absolutely nothing to do with the coarseness.
