As my time in this ‘city of spires’ comes to an end, I want to admit that I’m completely enchanted by its history and beautiful architecture. Undoubtedly, this one year in Oxford has been one of the most memorable years of my entire life. Its funny how you don’t realise how much you love something until its taken away from you. I sat contemplating the other day and remembered one of my first posts here in UK (you can check it out here). Looking back now, I feel I’ve achieved much more than I thought I would. I met some amazing people, worked with such talented designers, photographers and stylists, attended great events, got my styling work published in a magazine, learnt from the best, and travelled to breathtakingly beautiful places. Not to forget, I went Skydiving which continues to remain, by far the best experience of my living existence.
Walking through the streets of Oxford, its vintage charm and rich heritage are what inspire you the most. You feel positive vibes run through you all the time and motivate you to keep going, in every way possible. That’s probably why I shot this look in one of the most iconic places in Oxford–the Botanic Garden. The beauty of one of the oldest gardens in the world, is simply unfiltered and resonates with this gorgeous outfit.
This stunning, sophisticated Lavender gown from Audrey Ashley Couture redefines timeless elegance and has a distinct romantic style, making it perfect for the brides-to-be.
I chose this dress mainly because I deeply connected with the colour Lavender which represents refinement, grace and elegance. In the past one year, I’ve grown as a person and I feel that this gown symbolises the change in one way or the other.
Individually designed by Lara Audrey Ashley (the name behind the brand), all the evening wear and bridal dresses are made-to-measure, executed using only the finest tulles, silks and laces. So all you beautiful ladies getting married or attending a wedding anytime soon in UK, you can get the most beautiful custom-made gowns designed exclusively for you at excellent value for money. 🙂
